Problem:

I am in Partner Maintenance and I require to change the User 
ID in the GS Information Section due to changes within my 
own company.  Every time I try to enter the user-id, I get 
the following error:

ERROR: You have entered an invalid EDI user ID.

Why does this happen?

Answer:

Because you do not have this value entered in the EDI user 
table.  Verify what are the valid GS User ID numbers via the 
EDI User Maintenance function.  You may even choose to add 
one should it be required.
