After creating an entry in the Translation Table Maintenance 
function, I am being asked if I want to Create a Reversing 
Translation Table for (the) Table Code (that I am updating). 
If I enter yes, does it always create a direct reversing 
match for each entry in the translation table that I am in? 

Answer

Normally it does.  But, manual intervention is required in 
one case.  Should you have the following situation whereby 
more than one source value refers to the same destination 
value, then you will have to make accommodations:

Sample Translation Table Entries (3 have been entered)
------------------------------------------------------
A1		B
A2		B
A3		B

You will have to decide using mapping tools such as, segment 
formulas or function keyword formulas or qualifiers, under 
what conditions you will want to convert from B to A1, A2 or 
A3, and how you want the conversion to happen.
