Question:

I've set up my partner to receive 864's. When I do the receive the report
tells me that text messages where created.  When I go into option EDI 4 6, 
there are no messages there for my partner.


Answer:

There is no mapping done for the 864.  Go into option EDI 7 9  or map 
every position for each segment, in the inbound section, in which 
file name = edi-msg-txt   and field name = msg-text
