Question -------- I have a segment delimiter on my EDI partner setup. Why is this delimiter not appearing on the outbound transaction set? Answer ------ Because the "Add Segment Delimiter" switch for the file location (see EDI File Location Maintenance) is set to a value of "no" for the partner's file location. You should exercise caution when adding the segment delimiter to unwrapped data. Some VAN’s will reject your data if you do this. Geis is an example of this.
