Menu Group: Settings: Company and Department Setup
The first task you must do is set up your companies and departments. The payroll module allows you to maintain as many company and departments as necessary. Setting up a company is done using the following maintenance function.
At this point you must decide if your Payroll will be for the US or Canada. The radio button will only be active in the ADD mode. Once you have chosen your country, you may not change it.
The masks (see Masking Unmasked for an explanation of how masking works) are used as the default masks for the Job codes.
The Company ID field is used to provide a cross reference to the Open4 Human Resources module.
