Menu Group: File Maintenance: Formula Keywords and Function Keywords
Formula keywords are aliases to their corresponding dictionary fields. In the example shown above the keyword freq represents the database field employee.freq. Using keywords makes for more compact formulae and also allow you to define words that mean something to you. These keywords can then be used as part of a formula within an EBD. The EBD can then be assigned to an employee or group of employees and will be executed during the gross to net payroll process.
We provide a number of keywords with the payroll module; you may add them as needed. Here is a list of the keywords that are installed with the module. More information on how formulas work can be found here.
